What people are saying about Plan B!

“It is always a ‘good’ Wednesday night for me as I wait in anticipation to find out what our boxes will contain.  We then spend Wednesday after pick up and as a family wash, prepare and ziploc up our vegetables and fruit for the week.  I then menu plan for the week based on our vegetables.”

“It is really great that this has forced me to prepare vegetables that I would never have even chosen….or found in our grocery store.  Previously, believe it or not, our family had never tried swiss chard before.  It has really provided variety to our eating and increased our intake, no doubt, of healthy vitamins and minerals.”

“Our vegetables have always been fresh on pick up and there is such a satisfaction in knowing it was grown ‘down the road’.”

Plan B creates organic products which are raised, grown, stored, and/or processed without the use of synthetically – produced chemicals or fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, or any other pesticides, growth hormones or growth regulators. Only farmers who produce food according to a set of standards, undergo evaluation by other certified growers, and pass a yearly inspection by a trained independent inspector can label their products certified organic.

What is CSA?

Community Shared Agriculture (CSA) is a system of growing and distributing organic produce that restores the link between the farmers and city dwellers.

Why Eat Organic Food?

Organic farming practices leave no toxic residues on your food! They do not pollute the air, water, or soil of your community, leaving the environment a healthy place for humans, animals, and plants to live.
